Samer Al-Asadi, a Jordanian national who was raised in the United Arab Emirates came to the U.S. in the fall of 1990, to pursue a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering at California State University, Chico. Upon completion of this degree, Samer enrolled in the school of Film and Television at Chapman University in the fall of 1995. During this time he worked on many film projects, including his own, as director, cinematographer, editor, sound designer, and camera operator. In 1996, he received the Artistic and Technical Merit Award in Cinematography for his 16mm black and white short film entitled Turning Back which was ranked as a semi-finalist in the 1997 Angelus Awards. This film is about a young boy who, lacking love, care and attention, gets involved with drugs and ends up as a victim of circumstance. In 1997, Samer received the Quiet Excellence Award at Chapman University. He directed and produced his first feature-length film entitled Consequence, the story of two middle eastern brothers struggling with a clash of cultures as they adapt to the American lifestyle, for his thesis project. |
| Heather Giuliano |

As the producer of Consequence, Heather Giuliano has worn many hats while working on her first feature length film. Over seeing creative elements and financial constraints as well as the day to day operations of the movie, Giuliano has more than left her mark on this film about two brothers' struggles to adjust to different cultures and each other. Heather graduated from the producing program at Chapman University with a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1998. As part of her thesis requirement she also produced Choosing Hope, a documentary depicting the struggles of three women dealing with breast cancer. She was the associate producer on A Valiant Kiss of a Closet Monster, a student short film about a child's fear of the dark. While at Chapman, Heather interned at the Orange County Film Commission where she took location photos, updated photo files and fulfilled daily requests for production companies. While there she helped the production of such films as Starship Troopers, Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. For her efforts she was given the Location Scouting Outing Award from the California Film Commission. She also received the Chapman School of Film and Television award for Quiet Excellence in 1998. Giuliano has also taken passion for film abroad working at the London Film Commission during the summer of 1997 where she was given access to the sets of Saving Private Ryan, Eyes Wide Shut and Tomorrow Never Dies. In January of that year, she served as part of a student jury at Flickerfest '97, a short film festival in Sydney, Australia. While there she met and exchanged ideas with members of the Aussie filming community. Later that year she served as a liaison for the New South Wales (Australia) Film Commission at Show Biz Expo tradeshow in Los Angeles. Heather received her undergraduate in film studies from San Francisco State University. When not working on movies, Heather enjoys watching them. She also enjoys the theater and eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts. |

Kevin Coldiron |

Kevin Coldiron is a graduate of Chapman University film school. While there he made a name for himself by working on as many productions as possible, and more importantly, by giving script advice to fellow students. He was picked by the department to write or rewrite several school-sponsored projects. He is currently, and seemingly, in perpetuity, working on 3 or 4 different scripts, all in various stages of development. |

Tony Garcia has served as director of photography on the independent features, Degenerate (1997) and Consequence (1999). He has also shot over thirty short films which have shown at the Breckenridge Film Festival, Film Fest New Haven, the Ohio Independent Film Festival, Albany International Short Film Festival, Utah Short Film Festival, the North Hamptons Film Festival. Garcia has shot promotional spots for the following clients: Avía, Odyssey Golf, 5.7.9 Clothes, Baker/Leeds Shoes and Airwalk. He has also worked on several commercials, educational documentaries, music videos, and feature films as a camera assistant, sound mixer, and grip/electric. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television Production from Chapman University in 1996. He graduated with Departmental Honors and won the Department's Film Student of the Year award in 1996 and the Cinematographer of the Year award in 1995. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Film at Art Center College of Design (Pasadena, CA), one of the finest film schools on the West Coast. |
| Eric Bryant |

Eric Bryant has edited numerous independent films and documentaries. His credits include a documentary on the concept of hell; produced for a local New Orleans cable channel in 1991. In 1996 he received the award for Artistic and Technical Merit in Sound and Editing for a 16mm black and white short entitled Yield Not To Temptation. In 1997 he edited a documentary for the Time Warner CVAB of Orange, California entitled The Collection Plate Confusion and was met with very warm reviews. In 1999 Bryant completed a 3 month long edit on his thesis documentary project entitled Unraveled Confusion: Spiritual Jargon. The documentary continues to receive strong praise from participants and viewers alike. Along with his current feature film Consequence, he has edited several other independent films and movie trailers. Currently, Bryant works as an editor for the largest advertising agency in South Orange County in California. He is in the process of developing a seven-part documentary series dealing with controversial biblical issues in the Christian church for the Odyssey Channel network. |
| Thomas Morse |

Thomas Morse (born 1968) was raised in suburban St. Louis, MO. At the age of 6 he began piano lessons and soon began playing the saxophone. At the age of 13 he began writing simple compositions for the piano and was awarded a scholarship to study composition and piano at Conservatory and School for the Arts in St. Louis. During his high school years he studied college-level music theory and composition and was soon writing large-scale works for local orchestras - picking up numerous awards in state and national competitions. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Composition from a conservatory in Dallas, Texas, Thomas was granted a full scholarship to study Composition, Conducting, and Film Scoring at the USC School of Music in Los Angeles. While earning a Master's degree, he also taught courses in music theory, Classic Rock History, and a course on the music of the Beatles. After graduating, Thomas entered the professional world working for Shirley Walker as an orchestrator for the Warner Brothers show Batman, the animated series. He then began to score low-budget features, and helped develop a musical pilot at Disney. His studio began to grow, establishing an impressive music production facility. With more experience, he began to work on higher-profile projects including the Fox Searchlight feature Starmaps. Recently Thomas composed an elaborate orchestral score for a feature entitled The Big Brass Ring starring William Hurt, Miranda Richardson, and Nigel Hawthorn. Other recent projects include Michael Angel starring Dennis Hopper and The Christmas Path for the Fox Family Channel. Thomas has also worked as an arranger on several albums including the Michael Hutchens solo project. |
