Marc Casabani (Hani)
|
Marc Casabani was born in Alexandria, Egypt (or as it's sometimes referred to -- the “Land of TUT”) and he also speaks the language. Not the language of “Tut” mind you, but close. He speaks Arabic fluently, but not to worry, he also speaks English. With his family, he came to this country as a young boy and learned the language by watching TV shows like Sesame Street, ZOOM, Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood, The Electric Company, and believe it or not television commercials. He is a veteran of Chicago regional theatre where in 1994 at Wisdom Bridge Theatre his portrayal of Song Liling in David Henry Hwang's M. Butterfly, won him the prestigious Chicago Academy of Theater Artists' Artisan Award for Best Actor in a Drama. Marc's more recent theatre credits include his edgy portrayal of the very troubled Frankie in Miranda (3rd Stage - Burbank, CA) and the comedic voice of reason as Mark in Ex-presso (Theatre in the Courtyard - Hollywood, CA). Some of his more memorable Chicago credits include, Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol on the Goodman main stage and Haemon in Antigone with the Chicago Pegasus Players at UIC. With considerable fondness, he also recalls a small but significant play called OBRAS written and performed by an unabashed band of merry (sometimes too merry) poets at the Blue Rider Theatre. In the play, Marc portrayed a man so enamored by his meager and wretched neighborhood that he vowed to open the world's eyes to its rich potential. Though overwhelmed by poverty, his poetry and stories of the community were his ticket to a college education. Years later armed with a new found wisdom, he returned to the old neighborhood only to give back to the people who contributed to his success. Some of Marc's film credits include CinéTel Films' Desert Thunder, Phoenician Films' Rangers, Jonathan's Favorite Room, and Reign Dance Entertainment's Shoe Shine Boys. You can soon see Marc in a new comedy by New Line Cinema called Town and Country starring Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton, Garry Shandling, and Goldie Hawn due in theatres March of 2000 and the horror film Shredder due out in October of 2000. Also due to be released next year, he can be seen starring in the independent film Consequence as a student who at any expense is determined to save his brother from himself. Some of his television credits include Soldier of Fortune, Americas Most Wanted, and Sheridans of Chicago. Marc has big feet for optimum stage balance.

Claude Duhamel (Jack) |
Claude Duhamel began his acting carrier in his home town of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His unorthodox style and eccentric charm was neutered early on by his first acting coach and mentor Roland Farhood. Claude had grown up on the mean streets of Verdun, French Canada’s “Hills Kitchen”, and Claude saw acting as an opportunity to make it out of his neighborhood. After studying at Montreal’s Actor Studio, for an intense two years, where he focused on finding the truth in extensive improvisational games, Claude decided to head West, to the burgeoning film center of characters and Vancouver, Canada. After doing a handful of student and independent Vancouver roles, such as John—the last man in the universe, in the Sci-Fi Thriller The Impasse, and the pseudo-autistic Crazy Eddie in the widely seen A Road Movie, Claude decided to head to Los Angeles to further his opportunities. Once in Hollywood, Claude quickly established himself on the scene by landing the lead in a German made feature thriller, “Destination Vegas”. In the film, reminiscent of Kalifornia, Claude plays Texas O’Shaughnessy a Cajun car thief, whose rough and smoldering exterior betrays his heart of gold, that comes to the fore when he helps the beautiful Missy who’s on the run from corrupt mobsters. Claude portrayed a heroin junkie Elvis in Elvis is Alive, a white supremacist skinhead Ralphie in the explosive punk rock opus, Degenerates, and a conflicted young Italian-American hit man in Early Innocence. Most recently, Claude finished an episode of The Outer Limits co-starring alongside, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Adam Goldberg. Now with the release of Consequence, a Samer Al-Asadi film about two middle-eastern brothers’ journey in the new world, where Claude plays the vicious cocaine addicted pimp “Jack”, he continues to split his time between Vancouver and Los Angeles and is optimistic about his future as an actor on the eve of a new Millennium.

David Morgan (The Neighbor) |
David Morgan (a.k.a. Morgan Christopher) has spent the last year trying to beef up his film credits. Until late 1997 his entire acting resume consisted of theater experiences. "Not bad if you don't mind the pay generally associated with community and small independent theater," he says. In 1998-99 David invested a significant amount of time in front of the camera portraying law enforcement officers. "It must be the haircut," he claims. In addition to "detective and police" roles, David recently was the narrator/host for a documentary about the Santa Barbara Channel Islands produced by Diving Systems International, and appeared as a disturbing neighbor in Samer Al-Asadi's feature film Consequence. David lives in Tustin, California.
